Retraining as a digital native and creative? At Catena Company, experts in visual content automation, we’re all for it. By streamlining your content supply chain with the right technology, MARCOM professionals can naturally reclaim the time and space to focus on the enjoyable, creative aspects of their work. The result? Greater job satisfaction. This also includes attending training courses – while checking in advance whether you’re eligible for government subsidies such as the KMO-portefeuille and Flemish Training Leave.
KMO-portefeuille
KMO-portefeuille is a grant program that provides financial support to companies for purchasing training and consultancy services. This could involve developing a communication or marketing plan or participating in various training sessions.
Small enterprises can receive 30% support. Medium-sized enterprises qualify for 20%. The maximum annual support is €7,500. The Flemish government has ensured that applying for this subsidy is straightforward, so as many companies as possible can benefit. There’s no need to submit a lengthy grant application, and the KMO-portefeuille also offers a quality guarantee. As an accredited training centre and service provider, Catena Company meets strict criteria.
Flemish training leave
Perhaps the term ‘educational leave’ still rings a bell. Flemish training leave is essentially its successor. Employees in the private sector are entitled to Flemish training leave under certain conditions. This allows them to be absent from work to pursue training while continuing to receive their wages. Employers, in turn, can receive a lump sum as compensation.
These training programs must be registered in an official training database. And guess what? Nearly all of Catena Company’s creative courses qualify! However, employees must enrol for at least 32 hours per person, with a maximum of 125 hours per school year. For each approved hour of Flemish training leave, employers receive a reimbursement of €21.30. Oh, and by the way… Flemish training leave can be combined with the KMO-portefeuille!
You get the point: taking a training course with Catena Company is a smart plan. It’s upgrading skills, while getting your investment reimbursed by the government. Questions about submitting your applications? Feel free to contact us.
