Artificial intelligence (AI) is here to stay. In all kinds of forms, and for the most diverse applications. And that is really good news, because AI, if used properly, makes our lives easier. Consider, for example, how Netflix recommends films and series to you. These suggestions are based on your viewing habits and preferences, allowing you to constantly discover new titles that match your tastes.
We also embrace AI within the content process, from creation to management and distribution. What specifically does that mean for creatives and brand owners? Fernando Pauwels, Trainer Video & Animation at Catena Company and an experience expert himself, explains.
Adobe Sensei introduces AI capabilities “under the bonnet” of Adobe suite
Sensei is Adobe’s support to integrate AI across the Adobe suite. The platform supports a wide range of Adobe SaaS applications. Sensei’s broad integration and adaptability allow its algorithms to continuously learn from the data they process. With smart “under the bonnet” integrations, Adobe Sensei is deeply embedded in Adobe’s products – including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. Notable Adobe Sensei-powered features include Auto Reframe, Morph Cut, AI Content-Aware Fill, and Object Selection. Concretely:
- When you use AI Auto Reframe in Adobe Premiere Pro to adjust the image size of a video, the underlying AI algorithm identifies the subject (e.g. a person) and automatically centres it within the frame.
- Additionally, in Premiere Pro, you can utilise AI Morph Cut to track faces and create smooth transitions between different recording cuts. A particularly useful tool for editing video interviews recorded in separate chunks.
- With AI Content Aware Fill, you can effortlessly remove distracting elements in After Effects and Photoshop. The AI fills the removed area seamlessly, drawing from surrounding image content.
- The new AI Object Selection tool simplifies complex selections by allowing you to isolate a free-standing object with a single click, streamlining the creative process.
Smart automation with Digital Asset Management (DAM) and AI
While Adobe tools are essential for creating marketing content, how do you efficiently manage your assets and their lifecycle? With Digital Asset Management (DAM) enhanced by AI, you can automate your entire content supply chain, driving significant efficiency gains.
What is DAM, and how is it enhanced with AI?
DAM allows you to centralise and streamline the creation, management, and distribution of marketing materials and take control, saving time, cost and frustration in today’s content explosion. These systems enable you to easily store, organise, search, and share digital assets, including photos, videos, InDesign files, and PDFs. A DAM is increasingly integrated with tools such as Content Management Systems (CMS) for websites, Product Information Management (PIM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Project Management, and Marketing Automation.
With DAM and AI, you can achieve maximum results. By automating and streamlining daily processes, your marketing team will save hours of administrative work and quickly provide the entire organisation with marketing graphics, files, and videos. Within DAM itself, processes become even faster thanks to AI and automation.
- No more manual content creation
- Retrieve assets quickly and easily
- Double your content production
- Scalable, personalised content delivery with measurable ROI
