Java Foodservice embraces video content

Video is king, and Java Foodservice knows it all too well. With targeted training from Catena Company, content marketer Melissa Maho quickly mastered the essentials. Just a week later, her first sales video was ready to go – immediately put to use with prospects!

TikTok videos, Instagram reels… there’s no denying it – video is king. Moving images capture and hold your audience’s attention far better than static visuals. Java Foodservice recognised this trend as well.

Melissa Maho, content marketer at Java Foodservice shares how she got to know Catena Company. “In our marketing departments, we noticed that animated content is gaining popularity. Video is important on social media and website, but also during our customer events, trade shows and inspiration days, the importance of good videos became increasingly clear.”

But making video content out of nowhere: that’s hard. “We didn’t have enough knowledge in-house, so I took a video training course at Catena Company.”

Immediate practical application

As a content marketer, taking a video training course was stepping outside my comfort zone, admits Melissa. “The pace of the training was also very fast. But the instructor, Fernando Pauwels, always made sure I was up to speed. It was clear from the start that he is a seasoned expert by experience. The training taught me a lot and gave me the skills to get started right away.”

Less than a week after the training, Melissa was already putting her knowledge into practice. “I made a short video for our sales team, which they could use immediately with prospects. This of course involved some searching, but practice makes perfect!”

“I am looking forward to diving even deeper into video content. Always with the course at hand,” Melissa concludes.
