Brussels Airport: stepping into the Creative Cloud
The content explosion posed challenges for Brussels Airport, as it does for many brand owners. More platforms inevitably mean more content. Like many other brand owners, Brussels Airport faced challenges brought on by the content explosion. Brussels Airport recently completed a training course focused on taking ownership of their visual content creation, enabling them to bring content to market faster. Previously, most employees had limited knowledge gained through self-teaching and experimentation. The training came at the perfect time to align everyone’s skills and raise them to a higher level.
More platforms require more content
Over the years, the number of platforms for distributing content has grown significantly. What used to be primarily offline has shifted to a variety of online channels, each requiring customised content. For example, content designed for a flyer is vastly different from what works on social media.
This shift also led to increased demand for personalised content for Brussels Airport. Employees at the airport proactively searched for ways to meet the sudden needs among their target audience, exploring tools like Adobe Creative Cloud package and experimenting with it. However, their knowledge remained rather limited.
The goal of the customised programme quickly became clear: take control of creating visual content, as well as improve speed and efficiency through better use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

A training course focused on offline and online channels
As mentioned earlier, brand owners now need to account for two types of channels: offline and online. With this in mind, the training programme for Brussels Airport was structured over three distinct days. The first day of the course focused on printing, covering topics such as the possibilities and limitations of printing, effective colour management and proper use of PDFs. Participants then delved into creating visual content effectively. Participants started with a comprehensive foundation in Adobe Photoshop, exploring both basic and advanced features. They also learned valuable tips and tricks to work faster and more efficiently. The final day focused on Illustrator and InDesign. Participants learned how to create documents for print, digital publications, and interactive PDFs.
“A very approachable teacher who takes the time to explain concepts clearly and provides ample opportunity for practice.” – Jan Lenaerts, Technical Product Manager Pax Information @ Brussels Airport
Not just time savings, but better quality
After completing the three-day training participants significantly enhanced their skills and boosted their creative speed. The efficient use of Adobe software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign led to considerable time savings and noticeably improved the overall quality of their visual content.

“Learned a lot in a short time! Top instructor.” – Paul Jonckheere, Technical Product Manager (Collaboration & Info Access) @ Brussels Airport
