Netropolix starts with professional video
Netropolix embraced video content to present their customer stories and HR processes in a dynamic and original manner. Video is not only an ideal way to showcase expertise, but it also leaves a lasting impression on the target audience. Discover how Netropolix tackled this case.
Netropolix, an IT company based in the heart of the Kempen region, focuses on providing innovative IT solutions for businesses. They wanted to make video a bigger part of their marketing strategy. Their goal? To present customer stories and HR processes in a more dynamic and original way. To bring this vision to life, they partnered with Catena Company.
A future-oriented vision
Video content is on the rise, no surprise there. Yet, some companies still find themselves lagging. Netropolix, however, decided not to waste time and committed to investing consistently in professional interviews and action shots. This approach offers a more authentic and transparent way to connect with their target audience while also serving as the perfect platform to showcase their expertise. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words – and video even more so. By embracing this strategy, Netropolix is set to stand out from the competition. In collaboration with Catena Company, Netropolix took their video content to the next level.

Expert analysis
The process began with a thorough analysis of the existing video material and the equipment used for filming. Based on this evaluation, video trainer Fernando Pauwels compiled a list of essentials needed to achieve the desired video results. The new equipment included a Canon R7 camera with a compatible lens, perfectly suited to Netropolix’s requirements. Additional investments were made in a track slider and a new gimbal to enhance the quality of action shots. Sound quality was also a priority, with improvements carefully considered alongside the visual upgrades.
Learning to use the new equipment
To ensure that the Netropolix team could effectively use the new equipment, we began with a foundational training session on video content creation. During this training participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the new equipment and dive into the world of professional interviews and dynamic video production.
Following the training, trainer Fernando Pauwels worked closely with the Netropolix team to put their newly acquired skills into practice through a test recording. During a full day of on-site coaching, Fernando guided the team as they filmed a case study. Along the way, they received valuable feedback and practical tips to further refine their skills and enhance the quality of their video content.

The Netropolix team wasn’t ready to stop there and added an extra day of photography training to their development plan. This additional session proved to be a valuable enhancement to their growth journey.
During this intensive training session participants explored the art of photography, diving into various aspects with a strong focus on practical application. This approach allowed them to immediately put their skills to use in a variety of settings.
The training emphasised creating a diverse range of images including atmospheric shots that reflect Netropolix’s corporate culture, professional and authentic portrait photos of employees, and dynamic event photos capturing interactions and energy at corporate events. With the knowledge gained from this photography training, the team is now equipped to produce visually striking and impactful images that seamlessly complement the video content they had previously mastered.
By combining professional video and photography, Netropolix is set to take their marketing strategy to new heights, connecting with customers and potential employees in a more authentic and engaging way. The improved visuals not only help Netropolix showcase their expertise but also enable them to stand out from competitors.
