VVH creates videos after hands-on training
VVH sought to tell the powerful stories of families renting social housing. To visualise these narratives, they decided to produce videos they could fully control.
The Association of Flemish Housing Companies (VVH) is the umbrella organisation for social housing companies that rent out properties across Flanders. Els Matthysen, staff communications officer at VVH, sought to highlight compelling stories from families renting social housing. To bring these stories to life, she envisioned videos that she could produce and control herself.
While searching for the right tools, she discovered our training course, “Making video testimonials with your smartphone”. Although the hands-on training was delayed by COVID, it finally took place during our Summer Training, where Els learned essential techniques and imaging tips.
After just one day of training, Els gained enough knowledge to create her first video. The footage was shot entirely on her smartphone, and the editing was completed on mobile using Adobe Premiere Rush, which was also covered during the training.
